I'm Kier Wise-Baker (they/them), and my design practice spans branding, websites, video, and print for unified brand stories with positive impacts. Design is visual communication, and whether I'm supporting organizations or businesses, I shape design to connect with the audiences they help.

Starting my career by crafting at-home date night subscription boxes reinforced my approach of prioritizing the why behind design and marketing. For 3 years I created not only the themed date guides, 2-player games, and recipe packages, but also collaborated on the themes, games, and recipes themselves. I checked customer posts and reviews every morning, and while I loved seeing the happy snapshots of fun date nights, I also wanted to know when a miss on our part made a date fall short.

Now, with nearly a decade of experience in a variety of industries across product creation, marketing strategy, and community organizing, I feel the importance of centering the needs of an audience and mission more than ever.

Along with design, I love drawing, painting, creative writing, exploring new mediums and techniques, and researching things that fascinate me (like the wild abilities of mantis shrimp, again).
